ProTromsø was established in 2021 by the municipality of Tromsø,with the goal to facilitate and promote Tromsø as a thriving city to conduct business. We will work in cooperation with local businesses, chamber of commerce, clusters, startups, academia, public institutions and other partners who are passionate about growth and development of Tromsø and Northern Norway.
ProTromsø welcome international partners to contact us for potential business development, investment opportunities and acquisitions in the region.

Position Tromsø as a powerhouse for sustainable growth and development in the north with a strong business and industry sector and a vibrant and diverse society. We will work to attract investment, new businesses/offices, competence and labour, and strengthen Northern Norway’s competitiveness nationally and internationally arbeide for å tiltrekke investeringer, etableringer, kompetanse og arbeidskraft til Tromsø, og styrke Nord-Norges konkurranseevne nasjonalt og internasjonalt.
ProTromsø will play an active role nationally and internationally to achieve the position as an innovative and exciting hub in Northern Norway.
